Corporate Citizenship
LexisNexis Cares
With a history of fighting identity fraud, locating sex offenders, and reducing crime and violence in the workplace, LexisNexis is committed to making the world a better place.
We have helped the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children find and safely return hundreds of missing children to their families. Our technology also assisted in the capture of the Washington DC sniper.
But we also help out in less dramatic but equally important ways. The combined LexisNexis Risk Information & Analytics Group volunteered nearly 15,000 hours in 2008. We fed the hungry, housed the homeless, helped disadvantaged children, improved the environment, and made life a little easier for the disabled.
We are proud to take a leadership role in our approach to corporate responsibility, so that customers, suppliers and the global community will continue to recognize us as an open, honest and principled organization.
Missing Children
LexisNexis' volunteer work with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) has led to the recovery of more than 800 children. Two of the most powerful tools in NCMEC's arsenal are our AutoTrackXP and the ADAM broadcast fax program, designed to speed the agency's missing children alerts to the right places in the shortest time.
Nonprofit Partnerships
LexisNexis partners with a variety of non-profit organizations to help make the world a better place.
Associate Initiatives
Our core values are a wellspring of volunteerism, community service and charitable contributions for LexisNexis Risk Information & Analytics Group's 5,000 associates. Our signature fundraiser, the Windward Challenge, has raised more than $650,000 for worthy nonprofit organizations. We also maintain matching and direct giving programs for associates to select the causes they wish to support throughout the year.
