ChoicePoint's volunteer work with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) has led to the recovery of more than 800 children. Two of the most powerful tools in NCMEC's arsenal are ChoicePoint's AutoTrackXP and the ADAM broadcast fax program, designed to speed the agency's missing children alerts to the right places in the shortest time.

In the case of a missing child, speed is of the essence. Approximately 75 percent of all child abduction homicides occur within three hours of a kidnapping. The ADAM system delivered more than 1.6 million faxes in the first six months of 2006. Each fax was delivered in less than three minutes.
