Partnerships

Since its inception in 1997, ChoicePoint has embraced its obligation to be a positive force in society through community partnerships at the national and local levels. ChoicePoint Cares takes the lead in forging these vital partnerships.

Following is just a sampling of ChoicePoint's partners in caring.

National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC). ChoicePoint is helping raise awareness of the importance of background screening of volunteers and employees in the nonprofit sector. Through research grants, ChoicePoint and the NCVC are working together to better understand the trends of violence and crime in nonprofits.

Nonprofit Rick Management Center. ChoicePoint is working with the Nonprofit Risk Management Center to create content to help nonprofits implement risk management process in their organization. This content was launched on the ChoicePoint Cares Nonprofit Resource Center.

Safe America Foundation. Through PSAs and cause marketing campaigns, ChoicePoint and Safe America are raising awareness for the importance of promoting "safe environments" for kids.

Identity Theft Resource Center. This center assists victims of identity theft and has launched a teen identity theft awareness campaign.

Opportunity Knocks. ChoicePoint formed an alliance with Opportunity Knocks (operated by the Georgia Center for Nonprofits) to promote background screening of employees and volunteers and to provide deep discounts to participating organizations.
