Results are often available instantly, and LexisNexis can adjudicate an employer's results for them, further speeding the decision making process. The LexisNexis National Criminal File PLUS quickly searches against a database of criminal records provided by various criminal record sources across all 50 states for criminal records related to a candidate's background. In addition, the LexisNexis National Criminal File PLUS expands a criminal record search using Social Security numbers to uncover records listed under maiden names, nicknames and other alternative names not provided by the candidate.

Results can include:

• Name history associated with the SSN.
• Address history associated with the SSN.
• Criminal records matching the provided name, DOB and/or SSN.
• Criminal records matching any additional names developed from LexisNexis.
