Progressive Ordering

LexisNexis® offers an innovative Progressive Ordering model to help accelerate hiring cycles by providing employers with a method of filtering out ineligible applicants early in the screening process.

Using our recommended progressive screening package, which includes several LexisNexis products, background checks are automatically processed in a cascading or "progressive" order starting with instant searches first, such as a Social Security Number Verification (SSNV) and instant criminal database searches, before moving to more in-depth screening. Packages can be customized to meet a company's needs.

At any stage, if the results do not meet a company's pre-determined screening or hiring guidelines, the process is immediately terminated without ordering the remaining searches. A company saves time by not focusing on candidates who don't meet specific criteria.
